Qualifications and Experience

I am a fitness coach with a PhD in exercise physiology (NTU, Singapore) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science (Edith Cowan University, Australia). Also, I hold a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification (National Strength and Conditioning Association, USA).

Since 2014, I have worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach training youth athletes in various sports (swimming, badminton, netball, shooting etc.), and in recent years, adults and seniors who require exercise for fitness and health reasons.

Fitness professionals holding the certificate are considered well-versed in teaching exercise technique, and planning exercise programs for the general population and even competitive athletes.

During our training sessions, my focus is on teaching you everything you need to know so you can exercise independently and confidently on your own.

Eventually, stop paying for my services, but keep the lifelong skills you’ve learnt.

You won’t have to buy long-term packages that lock you in with me for 3-6 months.

Any time you feel empowered enough to take ownership of your own training, you may request to cease our training sessions.

Not only will I honor the request, I will also celebrate your independence and cheer you on from the sideline!

That said, my students typically take on average 12-20 sessions over 2 to 4 months to learn and hone their exercise technique to a level that gives them confidence. Therefore, it is important to prep for multiple sessions if you wish to make a lasting change.

Coaching Fees

$120 per session (lasting between 75 – 90 mins)

Additional costs incurred from renting of training venue such as gyms or studios (typically costing between $20- $50) will be added to the session’s fee.

Training venues that would not incur extra costs: Condominium gyms, parks,  public fitness spaces, void decks, offices etc.

*Subjected to limitations in capacity set by the training venue (if any). For e.g. commercial gyms often allow a trainer to train only one client at a time.

2. Meet For Your First Training Session! 

I typically perform a physical assessment (nothing invasive or strenuous, no preparation required) on the first session before I share the training plan. Then we start training!
